Cooking Up Casual Games Since 2011
Originally founded in 2011 by Carnegie Mellon CS grads Sam Kaufmann and Jake Poznanski, Random Salad Games sprouted from a dorm room dream. What started as two students making Windows Phone games for fun has grown into a full-fledged studio serving the Microsoft Store, Google Play, and Amazon App Store. With millions of downloads and dollars earned over the years, Random Salad Games is one of the largest indie studios on the Microsoft Store.
At Random Salad Games, we dish out classic games for all ages. From Solitaire to Hearts, Mahjong to Word Search, and everything in-between, we pride ourselves in making high-quality versions of classic casual games. Our games are localized to 10+ languages and available to players of all ages, making each game enjoyable for everyone. Best of all, our games are free to play!
Sam graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2011 with degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics. He co-founded Random Salad Games during his time at CMU and has enjoyed making games ever since. He also co-founded Pubfinity, an ad provider dedicated to helping publishers monetize apps and games on the Microsoft Store via in-game advertising.
